Good D.O.G. is a Hutt Valley, New Zealand, based website filling what appears to be a gap in the knowledge, understanding and care of dogs:

A civilized society can be judged by the way it treats its children and its animals
GOOD D.O.G. affirms and celebrates our mutually beneficial relationship with dogs
GOOD D.O.G encourages responsible dog owners to take a proactive role in reclaiming a positive media image for dogs

We hope to achieve this by sharing ideas and information, promoting discussion and debate and encouraging effective educational campaigns about the welfare and care of dogs, as well as safe and appropriate handling.
